Year 4 GATE tutoring in Perth
Everest Tutoring's Year 4 GATE class is a weekly 2.5-hour small-group lesson, capped at 10 students, at Harrisdale, Willetton and Perth Modern for $600 per 10-week term. It builds the reading, quantitative, abstract reasoning and writing skills that the ASET tests in Year 6, two years early. The first class is free.

How a lesson runs
The tutor introduces or revises the concept with worked examples on the board, one component at a time.
Students work from the Everest booklet while the tutor checks every student's working, so mistakes are caught in the room.
The last part of every class is doubt time and one-to-one guidance. Nobody moves on until everyone has it, and the booklet goes home with answers at the back.
