Refunds and cancellations
Everest Tutoring does not refund missed classes or a change of mind. Up to two missed classes a term carry forward as credit when you give at least 24 hours notice, one-to-one sessions cancelled under 24 hours are charged in full, and the medicine interview programme carries a 14-day full refund. Every situation, and what happens

| A one-to-one session is cancelled with at least 24 hours notice | Nothing is charged. The session is rescheduled to a time that suits. |
| A one-to-one session is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice | Charged in full, because the tutor time cannot be reallocated. |
| Everest cancels a class | A credit or a refund, your choice. Where a tutor is unwell the class is usually rescheduled or covered instead. |

Why missed classes are not refunded
A class seat is held for the term. When a student is absent the tutor, the room and the seat are all still paid for, so the fee is not recoverable. The two credits a term exist so that illness and family events do not cost you the lesson, and they are the reason we ask for 24 hours notice: with notice, the tutor can plan a catch-up.
How to ask for a credit or a refund
Email info@everesttutoring.com.au or call 0404 604 673 with the student name, the class and the date. Absences can also be logged in the parent portal, which is the fastest way to make the 24-hour window. Approved refunds are returned to the card used for the payment within five business days.
If you are unhappy with a class
Tell the centre team before the next class rather than after the term. Most concerns are a mismatch between the class and the student's level, and a move to a different class or tutor fixes it. Where Everest has not delivered what was promised, we will make it right; that is separate from this policy and from the Australian Consumer Law rights you always have.
